Two months before the abusive events occurred there was a welfare inspection which said “Child protection and health and safety procedures are very well organised. Staff training in these issues is very effective.”
In the latest Ofsted report on Stony Dean (Section 5 report) dated 10.5.2007, where does it say that Ofsted has inspected against the failures which led to criminal acts on children which resulted in the conviction to 10 years imprisonment of Mr Anthony Bulley for abusing children?
The answer is nowhere!
The Ofsted report is silent on these matters. This is failure on a grand scale by the Inspectorate. To remind ourselves – The only source of information on schools are the Ofsted and ISI Reports – parents have nothing else. |
